75 Hard
75 days · Fitness
The famous 75-day mental-toughness program: no substitutions, no rest days, no excuses.
75 Hard is a mental-toughness challenge created by Andy Frisella. Every single day for 75 days you complete five tasks - two workouts, a diet, water, reading and a progress photo. Miss any task and you start over at day 1. The calendar is the whole game: 75 unbroken checks or nothing.
The rules
- Follow a diet of your choosing - no cheat meals, no alcohol.
- Complete two 45-minute workouts; one must be outdoors.
- Drink 1 gallon (about 4 litres) of water.
- Read 10 pages of a non-fiction book.
- Take a daily progress photo.
Tips from people who finished
- Schedule the outdoor workout in the morning - weather and daylight ruin more attempts than soreness does.
- Prep water bottles the night before; the gallon sneaks up on people.
- A walk counts as a workout. On brutal days, walk.
- If you miss a task, the official rule is restart - mark the miss honestly and begin a fresh calendar.
Track it properly
The difference between "trying" this challenge and finishing it is usually a visible calendar. Create yours and you get:
- A 75-day calendar you tick off daily - with streaks and completion stats computed live.
- Achievement badges (day 1, 7-day streak, halfway, finisher…).
- A share link so a friend can watch and keep you honest - see the accountability playbook.
- A printable version for the fridge.
